Dr Shameem Jaumdally, medical virologist and epidemiologist, based in Cape Town for 20 years. I am a researcher with a specific interest in infectious diseases and epidemics highly prevalent in the developing world. My primary objective professionally is to improve access to primary healthcare, focussing on diagnostics and prevention. I hope to leverage my time on Mauradio to disseminate a better understanding of all things health and science related.
